About the Brittany: 

The Brittany is noted for being easy to train, sensitive, and sweet-natured.This trainability comes from their desire to please their owner.  Most agree that it takes little more than a stern look or cross word to chastise a Brittany. As a consequence, care must be taken during training so as not to make them fearful or shy. Brittanys are excellent with

children but they are an exuberant breed, and need daily mental and physical exercise. If left in a kennel or pen with out exercise and mental stimulation, they can become destructive. They get along well with other dogs and enjoy working with others as a team (some of us can t have just one). They will go from sleeping at the foot of your recliner (or on the couch with you) on Friday night to your best hunting dog on Saturday. They make wonderful family pets, and will be a lifelong companion.
